A quick look at CWA shows barely. Currency stuff. Poor FOs that have to deal with it... Hey I haven't flown in 90 days... Im gonna have to take all these...

Like so many of their predecessors, they did their “pro-company” stint in SWAPA and helped the company turn the screws along the way. Negotiated themselves nice upgrades in the SLI, while the rest of the group got Jack *******. Or at least one did.

Who currently in SWAPA also helped negotiate that turd? As well as TA1? Also the current lagging contract?

At the risk of opening a can of worms, he/she/they are right.

The only WN folks that got anything tangible out of the SLI are the folks (like those in the title of this thread) who took the upgrades from the AT folks, and the ones that lived in ATL.

Funny how that SLI carve out conveniently made sure that several of those doing the "negotiating" got to upgrade out of the deal.

Personally, I got absolutely nothing out of the deal except a few AT folks inserted ahead of me on the list. No raise, no bonus, no new bases (except ATL) etc... Nada.

The biggest upside was/is getting to fly with some awesome folks. And I sincerely mean that.

Yeah, I understand that senior SWA Cptns didn’t get much out of the deal besides the overwhelming majority of the “acquired ones” getting placed under them on the new list.
