I know people that do it. Commuting is a giant time suck that I refuse to do.

So I’d move to a DL base (they all suck except for SLC) or stay at SWA if you like where you live.

I’d fly a 172 from DEN-COS daily for $400k and driving to work.

I didn’t want to start a new thread for this, but any Delta guys willing to chime in with how much you made last year? (Fleet, seat, base, seniority, approximate days worked). I’ve read through the EOY salary threads but I’m curious about Delta specifically. Currently at WN thinking hard about making the jump. I know how much our guys generally make, so I’m looking for a realistic comparison. TIA

Your question has nothing to do with this thread... so yes, start a new one.

Better yet. Ask it on the Delta threads.

Wait till the end of the year. There will be a penis measuring thread on the major board.

Move to a DL base or go with SWA, unless you currently live in MCO or BNA which will go senior forever.

Long call reserve.. Commute for a NB for 2 years of line flying, then bid a WB and bid reserve.. No brainer. 4 day reserve blocks, there’s not much they can do to you on WB reserve after day 1 or 2. Good luck.
