-all reserves will have to cover both terminals but you can file for reimbursement of parking at the new “co-terminal” IF YOU DRIVE FAST ENOUGH to beat the 3 hour callout
-you might, maybe get premium on the first day only IF YOU DRIVE FAST ENOUGH to beat the 3 hour callout
-no one gets any of the contractual paid for housing move because the company renamed opening a new base into “co-terminal”

The company asked for and got a lot, for not much in return…… that is by definition a concession.
Yeah, but according to the second VP, our co domicile concession language is not as bad as the other airlines. I guess that makes it not as much of a concession.

We shouldn't even be entertaining concessions, and he's been selling this turd, SWApA 1.0 style, on the FB pages for the last few days.

Another Win! Win! (for the company).

Some stuff never changes around here.

Honestly I started out looking at this as a good thing - why not hook up some pilots if it helps them? I’m trending negative now on it. Small number of voluntary lines and I would be fine with it, but that doesn’t appear to be what is happening, or at least what is made possible, by the bullet points.

Automatic no from me? No, but it does raise an eyebrow…

This is the company’s loyalty test. The cushy cubicle awaits the current SWAPA sellers if they push this turd hard. SAIEW

A concession is when the entire group of people gets ******ed. This ain't it by a long shot no matter how much you quack.

I live on the good (to me) east side of the metroplex closer to DAL and I also think this could be a good thing, IF SWAPA gets the language right. Just one point from the OP that needs correcting: from what’s being said the 20% max doesn’t mean they’re going to take that many lines from the main domicile, that’s just how many they can add to the new one. I can see being able to pick up or trade into trips out of DFW vs DAL could be advantageous, or have them get you back to Dallas and pay for transportation across town vs an unscheduled RON. But I wouldn’t want to have them be separate bases and have to choose one or the other.

This. If DAL currenlty has 500 lines, the most DFW could have is 20% of that, or 100 lines, while DAL maintains 500. If DAL grows to 600, DFW can grow to 120. If DAL shrinks to 400, DFW shrinks to 80.

Those are lines that would have normally gone to the original base.

The company wants to open a new base, but doesn’t want to pay for it. No paid moves, etc.

So they came up with a new word for this concession…. “Co-terminal”.

See? It’s not called a domicile so they don’t have to pay for one….. now drive your ass across town in rush hour traffic for no extra pay plumbers.
