Well what is plan B

MAX7 could be dead. Too big to buy anyone. Maybe get 100 A350s?

not even sure SWA knows at this point. It was set to be certified until the plug fell off.

Is there any orders available for any commercial aircraft available for the next 10 yrs?
I dont think so.
Plus itll take 2 years to get any new type approved for us to operate and train pilots. And thatd be very fast for any sizable amount we'd need.
I think near term its max 8s and we're not doing the growth they wanted.
probably more frequency to Midland

We all know Southwest has been talking to Airbus for years, but hasn’t committed. If they did have a plan B, I’m sure we wouldn’t hear about it until it’s in the papers. For Airbus to steal Boeing’s most loyal customer would be huge. They would jump through hoops for this. How do we know Airbus doesn’t have hidden options to get SWA linked into the order book sooner as they develop a training program?

But, realistically probably just take more 8’s and possibly have Boeing pay for some of the 23 year checks on 700’s to keep them going.

true. Nobody knows that swa and Airbus have agreed to or hinted at. Right now I believe sw is looking at all options, again.

No worries. WN is right where they want to be . Stand by for more stock buy backs and record bonuses for the executives.

Maybe this is the kick in the rear end Boeing needs? If Southwest goes in the direction United seems to be going then you’ll see changes for the better.

Probably just flounder along per normal.

if that means we're thriving, I'm good with that.
Not sure why people get butt--hurt over execs getting bonuses.
That usually means the company is flourishing.
If you wanted exec bonuses, you should have gotten an mba and chose a different route.
