Just flew with a D225 NH straight out of IOE. They said there are still literally hundreds on the D225 pipeline that are waiting to be brought on.

they were doing 225 tours when I was there last week.
Never let a crisis go to waste. Remeber the force majour (sp) or 10% cuts?

I see the same characters who were bellyaching over JAs and reroutes will now be bellyaching over much less extra flying. Some people just can't be without drama in their lives.

I live my life in 2nd yr FO guarantee. The rest has been gravy.
I'm looking forward to some time off this summer.

Hell yeah!! I've already been living the gravy train, but some senior coots are already starting to figure out the game.

None of them want to work weekend rsv. They bid their cherry line and then give away trips and pick up rsv out of OT hoping to not work. Tapers off mid/end month when they figure out they have to work because of the RCO.

You guys do know that we are flying more flights this summer than last, right? This is a total made up crisis.
They will offer some BS LOAs in the fall and if they can get SWAPA to agree, some voluntary half lines. In the meantime they will continue to take D225 and will continue upgrade classes because this is all temporary and riding it out is going to be better and cheaper than cutting and rebuilding.

I really hope we call their bluff and tell them to pound sand on any ETO/EXTO LOAs without MAJOR gives on their part. Sim pay, triple time, crew meals…solve ‘em all now.

If our idiotic leaders aren’t interested in those things, that’s fine. Just give me my green bar or give me my rigged three day that blocks 11. I don’t care. The more guys that take half pay ETO or whatever BS the morons in Dallas come up with, the more the rest of us will have to fly just to make guarantee.

Yep. I am if the same mind. SWAPA needs to stop rolling over and this is a perfect example. The company will cry and say they need to do it to prevent furloughs like the Spirit boogeyman that they have been using since I was hired here. If that's the case, then go ahead. You want to furlough in this environment over what it at most a temporary issue? Go right ahead.
I'll take my green bar and min guarantee and live like a G because I am still budgeted for it.
During Covid, I worked about a half schedule and got full pay which was amazing for me. Redid all my flooring and painted my house. Win. Don't threaten me with a good time.

Can you imagine how much we’d make now with LCO if they ran some “Hindsight” fixes? 🫣
