You are still wrong. Seat recline only impacts room above the knee. Actually UA/AA's legroom in the back is closer to SWA then it is to Spirit and Frontiers.

Uh... Herpes? The gift that keeps on giving. Nothing but a bad deal. Forever.

The AirTran deal killed a competitor and added some pretty big markets that SWA does very well in like LGA and DCA. It also got SWA into the close international leisure market. It was probably the best thing that has happened to delta since BK.

United's and AA's regular economy is much worse, at least on their narrowbody fleets I've flown on. United's seatback is so close that I can't bring my knees together. I literally have to straddle the curve of the seatback with my knees. It's agony.

Elliot's other only interest is in SWA cash reserves. Cash reserves the company has used to fight off furloughs, cutbacks, and has acted as a shock absorber during slow times like recessions. However, if Elliot gets its way those cash reserves will be sucked dry by them, and then if they see the opportunity, they will start selling assets to increase the bottom line with no regards to employees. This will turn into a battle of Workers vs Wallstreet, with SWAPA playing Elliot's fiddle while we sink into the abyss.

This pilot group needs to demand SWAPA reverse course and stop championing Elliot in it's emails to us, but instead stand up show they have a pair. They certainly did not do this during the whole Covid debacle, they folded like a cheap Walmart Tent in a calm breeze. I'm thankful CM term is about to be up, he has been on that SWAPA tit pull long enough. SWAPA needs to take a stand like the Communication Workers of American did. When Elliot got involved with At&T, they lost well over 10,000 jobs nationwide after they entered the picture.

There is no plan. Plan is to buy back stock with cash reserves to inflate stock, then dump. Basically like movie “Wallstreet.” Raid the cash reserves instead of the pension.
