They usually give you some story about how PM trips are always delayed. Honeslty, I'd rather get up at 11 and be delayed six hours than to wake up before the sun comes up. I'd rather do red-eyes. I'd rather do nonstop simulator events. Nothing is more painful to me than an AM trip.

I fly both for commutability. It's definitely a diffefent strokes type of thing. I personally hate AMs that aren't on the west coast. They get up super early and I am destroyed for a full day after the trip trying to catch up. Some people love them because they are bit more predictible. I get it completely, but the whole saying about Southwest being two different airlines is very true. A lot more odd ducks and a holes fly AM pairings.
