Does anyone know if they have started to have people they cancelled interviews with if they have started to move them along again in the interview process? From what I heard many are still sitting and waiting. With Spirit about to go under looks like it gonna be an even longer wait.

if someone got their interview cancelled they are no longer in the running.

and no one is entitled enough to be upset about a “wait”

Congratulations man. I was 4/22 still hoping for good news.

Thanks, dude. I've seen multiple people get the CJO at 2-3 weeks after interview, so it's definitely not over.

Wake up on the wrong side of the bed this morning? I’m just going by what recruiters have been telling ones who had their interview cancelled. They said re-apply for this requisition and they would have them continue along in the process. No one said anything about being entitled. If a person is out of the running as you claim, why did they tell so many people to re- apply even made personal phone calls and told them this if it was all a lie? They were even telling guys what was wrong and why some totals looked inconsistent. 1 guy was out in Dallas at the hotel and they cancelled his interview only hours before his showtime. If they have no intention of moving ahead with those whom they cancelled interviews with after deceiving them that would be unethical as hell. You have a source for your assertion? And finally:

Are you a Southwest recruiter or didn’t have your coffee this morning?

you never said anything about them reapplying. You made it sound like they were just sitting around after the cx interview waiting. Obviously if they can reapply then they should. Not rocket science.

The 1 guy who got cx on the night before probably should have had a closer eye on his application before someone else did. But everyone wants to push the blame to someone else.

Well if they put the blame on someone else that’s unfortunate. Speaking from my own experience when they called me after inviting me to message them I did. They were kind, respectful and told me exactly where I messed up.
I didn’t blame anyone but took responsibility for my mistake. I was just inquiring if they had started to move guys and gals in my position forward again yet. I certainly don’t feel entitled nor am I blame shifting.
I’m happy for those who got CJO’s and despite this, experience is a good teacher. Hope you have a good day.

Where do you mess up?

They wanted you to the supplemental docs to break down your flight time going back 5 years. I miscalculated mine. The recruiter said isn’t wasn’t a fatal mistake and that they see it quite common. I was told to fix it and they decided to move me forward. When? I don’t know. Could be a while with the Sporit situation though,

Cjo timeline/ class dates

Hello everyone! Finally got the interview invite for June 2nd. Clearly do not have a CJO yet, but what is the timeline from interview to knowing about an offer? And also how far out are class dates right now? Thanks!

“Good news” generally comes within 7-10 days via phone call from a Chief.

”Bad news” comes in an email, based on friends experiences, anytime after that.

I did have one guy that waited 21 days for a CJO, but if you don’t hear within 2 weeks, generally not a good sign.

They have a big hiring push for the summer so I would expect to be in class within 60-90 days..possibly earlier if you get your pre-employment paperwork squared away and watch your email for early class date offers.

Good luck!

4/23 interview
4/30 CJO
6/8 Class, 6/1 was available, but unable to make that one.

If you get the good news, finish all paperwork asap and you get the first picks it seems.
