Yeah, good luck with that.

It is still going to hard to get that SWA Spirit knowing that I'm furlough fodder for 3 years. Oh, I will be getting B scale pay for those same years...so I got that going for me.

You'll get used to being 'furlough fodder' after a few years. I WAS furloughed and I survived.

It's been said before, but I'll say it again. It's not a b-scale. There will be no one in 'your' seat on the 717 making more than you.

I thought we were already on board as of May. Hmmm....

Quit being dense, we both have our 16%ers. Let's worry about your neighbors instead. Now that you will be a SWAPA pilot, I will listen very carefully to what you think is fair for our next merger(or any other matter).

83 percent of your fellow pilots do not agree with you. You are in the minority.

Airtran guy here -- FWIW, there is a difference between the % the SLI passed and whether that means 83% are "happy" with it. The majority of the AT folks I have spoken with think it was a very unfair deal for us, but our options were limited to:

1. Vote "yes" and keep your job

2. Vote "no" and be out of a job in a couple years as Airtran winds down, and maybe in 10 years after the court cases were resolved you might get your job back. Maybe.

My perspective is, the SLI process is over. I am putting it behind me and moving forward, with my positive attitude intact, ready to do the best job I can as a Southwest pilot.

I'm looking forward to getting integration completed and moving on with life without looking back.

And, to the Southwest pilots welcoming us aboard ... thanks! I'm looking forward to flying with you.

Someone once said,

"Thank you sir. May I have another!"

Somehow I doubt that he meant it and I bet there are a lot of the 80+%'s that would agree with this thinking.
