They are coming from MCO guys. They are hearing he is moving on to an oil company. Any SWA jockeys hearing the same?

Yea hearing that alot , along with his tiff with Herb sometime back, also the rumor is that Bob Jordan is taking his spot. Jordan was put over on the FL side as the big boss, would not surprise me to see the former FL CEO somewhere in the running. Bob Fornaro was the CEO of FL at the time when SWA purchased FL. He got a 2.9 million cash payment according to documents filed with SEC. He was also retained by SWA as a consultant probably paid few million bucks to do that also.

I don't think there is any chance of that . . . Would not mesh well with SWA's employee-friendly culture. Came from USAirways . . . In half a decade at AirTran, he did not develop or build any sort of positive corporate culture whatsoever, just stayed the course until it could be sold. Not the kind of guy they'd be looking for, IMHO. Then again, I haven't seen any calls from the SWA B.o.D. in my caller ID lately.

Over on Flightinfo.com Hangar someone posted that SWA was considering changing over to PEPSI products. Someone please tell me this is NOT true. Rum and pepsi does not have the same taste as Rum and coke.
