You care, give it up We have to nit pick everything about our favorite airline It makes you smile to think about Polar Bears and Penguins drinking coke a cola ( despite the fact they exist in opposite sides of the globe) on the sides of jets at Christmas. Mine was an honest suggestion though. Keep the relationship just change the connection.

The internet is getting boring I tell ya what!!!

Give me something to think about please!!!!!

While I never flew steam model (KC-135A) I do remember the navigator (before FMS) shooting the stars with a sextant, rolling some chicken bones on the nav table, then telling me to come left two degrees. Note there was reason we got permission for 20 miles left and right of course for nav legs.
Note the KC-135 was the original 717 and the is why the 717's AirTran fly are the 717-200

Besides I will be a lowly FO at SWA not a co-captain like I was at AirTran. I am sure the captain will be happy to tell me what to do I always told captains I was a proud FO but for $5 / hour I would be happy to be their co-captain!!!

Hey you all fly safe
See you all on the other side of the partition

Lmao. "Co-captain". I always hated that and used to cringe when the cptn used it in his Welcome Aboard PA. Like it was an insult or something to be called First Officer

Have fun down there in Dallas. Lots of good nudie bars and some actually have decent food! Oh, and the deck parties have some good scenery as well, but I'm not talking about the airplanes that are landing.

Funny, I thought the KC-135 was based on the 707 and the 717 was originally an MD derivative.

The things you learn on APC.

Isn't that the truth! Dallas was rather impressive when it came to that stuff.
