Maybe southwest airlines is owed some reciprocity after having been forced to deal with the right amendment for 30+ years. It was a bid to put them out of business after all. Not sure why you Delta guys would be worried you have a completely different product. If you're looking for fight you should going to DFW or better yet go to Denver as United's on the ropes. If you did that though you'd really have to compete with Southwest. |
Yes yes you are

Are we not already really competing in ATL?
Let SWA enjoy the passing of a law that has been a thorn in their side for 30 plus years |

Assuming you area Delta guy SWA definitely underestimated the demand for their product in ATL and Delta is cleaning up. Delta IMHO also has the best product of any legacy. My only point is that it is beneath the Delta guys to have sour grapes about DAL.

T,
Was the law made to squeeze SWA or not? The law backfiring isn't SWA's problem. Enjoy the perch, the view is awesome. |

Dude that law is what allowed you to grow into what you are. Had it not been for that you would be on the scrap heap of airlines alongside ones too numerous to mention.

The Wright Amendment was passed AFTER Herb prevailed in the Supreme Court and got the right to continue operating out of DAL. In no way did it help SWA. |

Calm down dude or you will bust a vein. Just a concerned suggestion. SWA dodged and weaved and others faltered. We may have to deal with our own issues in due time. The Oscar |
