“At Spirit, we are very proud of our growth and success as an airline and as a team,” said Spirit's President and CEO, Bob Fornaro. " We are expanding our fleet, adding new routes, focusing on improving our operations and customer experience, all while delivering on our promise to deliver ultra-low fares. These two individuals will help drive that vision, bringing valuable insight and experiences to help us achieve our goals and reach new heights as an airline.”

Matt Klein will lead revenue and marketing strategy, managing Spirit’s Network Planning, Pricing & Revenue Management and Consumer Marketing teams. With more than 20 years of management experience in the airline and travel industries, Matt most recently worked in various consulting capacities in the travel industry. There is no Spirit section. Spirit is not large enough, active enough or important enough to have their own section.

Yeah, and Spirit and Southwest both start with "S", so it makes sense!

Or is there another acquisition coming?

Depends if SWA sees Bob as potentially building a competitor down the road. I think it's just Bob finding jobs for his friends from AirTran who lost out after the buyout, I mean merger.
