Just wondering could they be waiting for more background info? If something they wanted maybe didn't come in, in time for the DB?

I hope that is all it is. According to my employer no PRIA had been requested :(

They have not asked you to drug test yet? Some how you may have been lost in the shuffle. I did the Nov 7 interview and was drug tested already. PRIA and third party background check info was also verified. Just waiting for the 21st to hear the good news.

If i dont get a bad news email after tomorrows DB i will assume i fell through the cracks. With no background check done of any kind the only other guess i have is they forgot to send me the TBNT email. We shall see. I hope the rest of you guys get some good news calls tomorrow!

Hello. I'm hearing the December class was postponed. Any word?

I've heard everything at SWA is "postponed" until July. To include the contractually agreed upon B-fund payments. IT issues...

They emailed me asking about Dec class, but couldn't take it and stayed with Jan class.

The few who got the TBNT from our group had to wait 6-8 weeks. Seemed they didn't send the email until everyone from that day had heard. Prob waiting for everyone in the group to have a decision made one way or another before emails sent.

Don't really know why. If you know you're not going to hire someone why put them through a long wait?

To select alternates amongst the group if the first choices decline and they need to fill classes?

SWA wouldn't be the first organization that did that if that's the case.

They interview plenty that I'd imagine they don't have alternates on each interview date. If that were true, then the alternates would have their PRIA and background checks run along with the others just in case. The guys in my interview group who weren't hired didn't have any checks run that they knew of.
