You know what would really show them. First give back all the raises you got since Southwest bought you. When you upgrade make sure to call payroll and tell them you want the Airtran rates not the Southwest rates. Also make sure to give every bit of profit sharing back since this airline cannot be forgiven for making you merge less than relative even though your contract was significantly less than that of Southwest and you bet that your 7 years seniority should have gone in front of someone who has been here 20.

Next reject immediately reject this retro bonus as it wasn't AT that provided it for you. Followed by once again making sure that you call payroll and make sure you stay on the Airtran contract pay rates and not those negotiated between the SWA and SWAPA. You know the two that screwed you over.

Next you need to make some signs that say "SWA is not my Airline" and go and protest in front of headquarters until they give the airtran guys back their subpar contract and take back all the extra pay that the vast majority of AT folks have made since the acquisition.

Otherwise stay bitter and make sure to tell everyone that you fly with how much you got screwed. I am sure they will respond with the kindness and understanding that whiny babies deserve.

Nope.

Whoever the next merger/acquisition ends up being...let it go to arbitration. That way everyone can be ****ed off at the arbitrator and not each other.

Well the Flight attendants and Mechanics both went to arbitration. They both got a worse seniority integration than what the Pilots got.

Anybody have class start dates for the rest of 2016 and anything for 2017? Also, any updates on hiring in 2017 with the new TA?

Thanks!

I'm in the 9 Jan class. Originally, I was in the 5 dec class but had to push it back

I'll be in the 9th too. Other classes in January are scheduled for the 16th and 30th.

Flydive and Flaps20, what time frame did you have from interview to job offer? I interviewed OCT 19 and still havent heard a word either way. Rocky made it sound like we would hear something by the first week of NOV.

NVPilot 11-17-2016 08:33 PM

I interviewed the oct 20 and am in Dec 5 class.

I BELIEVE that you would have already gotten a TBNT email if out of the selection process.
Hang in there!

Interviewed on Oct 19th, got the call on Nov 2. Offered the 5th but for family reasons had to start on the 9th. No news is good news but maybe check your spam/junk email folder. I think there is another DB on 11/21. If you don't hear anything by then I would definitely reach out to them. Good luck.

Thanks Loon and i hope your right. Yes i have been checking the spam box and no TBNT email.
