It will pass by 88%. Sad day for pattern bargaining.

And I'm betting 88 days until the first significant "creative" interpretation of our new CBA by the company exec's.

Actual quotes I've heard on the line in the last few weeks:

-"This is the easiest job in the world. We already get paid enough."
-"We're not going to get any better than this."
-"The President would never allow us to strike." (Truth: the President does NOT have that power under the RLA)
-"I won't have to fly red eyes."
-"What if there's another 9/11 or oil goes to $100 per barrel? What would the company do?"
-"I didn't know that was in the TA."
-"Our hotels are fine. I never leave my room."
-"I think the company wants us to vote no. So I'm voting yes."
-"All of the other airlines furloughed after 9/11. Not us. I'm voting yes."

And the number one thing I've heard more often than any other single thing:
-"I'm voting yes because Jon and Casey are voting yes."

And our union said there would be no sales job? How is that not a sales job?

Jon and Casey also signed their names saying they would achieve the stated goals of the Platform. That didn't happen. Will they be right about us having more leverage by voting yes going forward? I hope so, but I doubt it.
