Dunno about anything else, but I dropped a crapload of R days this month for family events and I was sorely tempted to take a JA offer just to get back up to guarantee and to actually, you know, fly a little. New guy should fly sometimes, right? Didn't take it, but damn 1st yr drags on.

New guys don't be scared to use those JAs and get some move up days off when you run out. There is no way we are cohesive enough to make an impact on a faster contract by not picking up open time/ answering the phone. How long do you expect everyone to not pick up anything? How long are you willing to not get any extra? Not long! Because if you pass it up the "gravy chokers" just get another serving. Someone above you is going to snag that 23 hour 4 day at JA while the internet warriors sit behind the keyboards and put your initials on the boards. They just want the gravy. Last contract took 7 years. You going to not pick up anything for 5 more? Doubt it.

Several calls in the last 24 hours for JAs that I turned down yet no cancellations. What Vegas captains are turning my sacrifice into opportunity? If I'm going to lose on the money then these people should have consequences.

Man I hope you can hold out for 3- 5 more years without any JA pay. Like I said the gravy chokers choked and you lost money. People are still going to pick up JAs no matter how unified we are.

I'll sit at home as summer approaches and let my calls from scheduling go to voicemail while I sit back and watch this operation implode.
No need to keep up with the Joneses, have that island home or Captain house. No need to credit 100-150 hrs a month to make ends meet. I feel sorry for those gravey chokers that need all that.
If you feel the need to get Sally to Disney or work more for less than your peers, go ahead. It's just sad your lifestyle demands it.
I refuse to do more than the minimum until I'm compensated like my peers.
For those interested in doing more with less......
