Alright Alpa, enough is enough. what the hell are we paying you for? you are useless. Strike Vote Now.......I have no confidence in ALPA. 2 years now....2 years of no raises. 2 years of the bottom of the barrel. 2 years and we are still at the 'Substantial additional negotiations will be required along with the continued assistance of the NMB in order to reach our objectives" stage. Dear national mediation board, since this website is used to sue our pilot group and issue restringing orders against us i will assume you will read this. What is you purpose? The only purpose I see for you is to help corporations screw over employees. How did you get like that? years of lobbying and corrupt politicians setting the tone to screw over labor. I have lost ALL confidence in Alpa, the mec and the negotiators, the same negotiators who screwed us over last contract btw......absolutely pathetic.....

I think it's time to follow SWAPA and DALPA's lead and clean house. maybe get rid of alpa altogether. they do not give a flying rats a** about us. they will take our 2% and assessments though. where does that money go anyway??? they will let us swing in the wind for years.

how can anything i said be used against us? questioning the role of the national mediation board? i have legitimate question. i just want to know why it takes years to get a contract? how did this become the norm? yes, maybe i should keep my mouth shut and just let the screwing roll off my back, that's what our government wants....a bunch of scared, weak imps. that's why we were sued. i can see you 240 years ago telling the colonists they should delete their post, it might upset King George

It takes years because the railway labor act doesn't let contracts expire, only become amendable which gives the corporations unlimited stall time as long as they appear like they are negotiating and they don't outside pressures like filling classes. They probably upped their offer by half a percent so that it appears like they are negotiating and they buy themselves another three weeks of stalling and savings.
Impasse now! We are not going to come together in this market. Lock us out or let us strike and see how bad they need us. Let the market decide.

Recall the entire MEC and LEC leadership. This will remove all the named parties from the TRO. Start over by playing smart instead of tough. Our entire leadership is hogtied by the TRO. Until then, I'd start applying elsewhere.
