What are you doing with Bendo's offer?
I figure I'll use mine as a fire starter for my grill/smoker. Any other ideas?

File a TRO.

I strongly support and applaud our NC.
This is not a serious proposal, only a desperate attempt to divide. Let's ignore the management trolls in here that made their true colors known. United we stand. |
doing anything with this proposal is time wasted, the only thing we should use our energy towards is what comes next because that is the only thing that matters. Play your game and not theirs, that is the only way to prevail in this situation.

Wrapped it with a hot diaper so it felt at home.

I was going to return to sender with "My negotiating committee speaks for my entire family" written on the envelope.

Whats funny is Bendoritis' "work rules" absolutely demolish any QOL. Everything in there just gave us the ability to work oursleves to death. He thinks our families will be impressed by the mail. My wife was livid. She actually enjoys me being around for my kids
Laughable |
What price can you put on being there for your family? What is the value of an intact marriage? Any pay raise would be eaten up by divorce lawyers, alimony, and child support!

JetBlue + PBS which works out to roughly JetBlue -15%.
Now let's all be careful not to be negotiating in public. Let's let the negotiating committee do the talking |

Jetblue is in the middle of negotiations for market rate raises on that as well. It was so bad I actually thought it was a joke. My NC has said as much.
Now let's all be careful not to be negotiating in public. Let's let the negotiating committee do the talking "Finally, please resist the urge to communicate via social media where management will be looking for information to assist them in the bargaining process." Regardless if the conversations seem innocent to us, we were asked to stay off these forums. How many times have you seen an innocent forum discussion turn into TRO bait within a few seconds? A lot! That's exactly what they are waiting for; for us to trip on our own junk. These forums should be dark until we are told otherwise by the NC or we have a contract. It truly is that simple. |

Honestly I don't think they care about the pay as much as they want work rules gone. We give away rules for pay, biggest mistake ever. Will get use to the bigger house nicer car, prettier boat but when we're doing lines with 14 days off, no schedule integrity, can't drop back to the company and flying to PT 117 limits, life will suck no matter the pay.

I have to believe that a few people on here posting are not members of your pilot group. Because any pilot in your group would know better after that ridiculous injunction filed earlier this year. Talking about the status of negotiations or bad mouthing the company is one thing; a means of blowing off steam. BUT, talking specifics about what you will or will not accept in a new contract is completely effin stupid. With a small margin of error for idiots, I have to believe that the remainder of these posters are not members on your seniority list.

I was looking at DL, AA and United Captain A320 pay scales. Year 3 is $246-$247. Our ask is $196. Top captain ask of DOS is $237 while that is essentially junior Captain pay at the big three. No real comment just a simple comparison. Pay scales are listed on APC and is common knowledge. |
But you are only using the big 3. When Using comps, you use all the comps not just the ones that you cherry pick. They said there are 8 different airlines that are our 'Comprables.' Not to mention with exception a few outliers st delta nobody is legacy captain Making those rates at yesr 3. I'm not advocating either way, I have my opinion on the proposal and I'll keep pretty much to myself. Just saying when selling a house you use all the comps on the street not just the ones that help your price point ..
PS also mentioned only 2 of those 8 have line bidding ... so by definition line bidding is not industry standard. Collectively we'll have to pick and choose what we have to have and what we might negotiate on ..we shall see . It's gonna be a long road ahead |

It's gonna be a long road ahead When you're selling a house, you compare to current values, not values that homes on that street sold at 5 years ago. The current, valid, negotiated union contracts are Delta, American, United, Southwest, Hawaiian, and Allegiant. That's it. Run those numbers if you want averages. |
