Union Buster
 

Busting a union is what Bendo gets his jollies from. He has his trolls out in force on here to manage down your expectations. They are trying to wear you down. I have been posting against them because I did not want them controlling the conversation and casual readers thinking they are representative of the group. I'm done with that.

This will now just serve as a list of known trolls. Feel free to check their post history and see that they do nothing to advocate for our group. Stay unified!

Wrong, dead wrong. Asking questions and being sick and tired of being paid HALF of what others are making because ALPA wants to play the loosing game of sit around and hope magical things happen does not make me a union buster. It makes me a realist. I get you don't like what I am saying because it doesn't agree with your point of view. But my point of view is that sitting around hoping for something better for another 2 years only to get stuck with the company proposal that has been put in front of us is flat out dumb. On top of while we waste all this time the company continues to get us at a discount and we don't get any retro out of it. So **** and moan all you want but I am not a union buster.

The questions you ask on here could easily be answered by emailing your Reps, MEC or NC. End of story.

If we all thought like you do we would be sharing rooms at the Motel 6 and flying for minimum wage.

Does Spirit pay less for Airbus parts than the legacy carriers? Jet fuel? Landing fees?

Why would they get to pay less for pilots?

Why i'm trying to prove myself to some fake internet tough guy is beyond me. I'm not pushing anything. I agree its a **** proposal but sitting around conducting phone polls and picketing thinking that this is going to all of a sudden make the company make any sort of move is very naive. Let's be realistic.

Just because I have an opinion that doesn't exactly align with yours doesn't mean I'm some sort of "union buster" or whatever grow up dude.

Conjectures of your loyalties are not helped by the fact you chose the name of a dude, playing a dude, disguised as another dude. You are allowed an opinion and can state it anywhere you like. Just realize that your opinion is at diametric odds with your union brothers and sisters, and it's precisely the kind of cancerous attitude that a management troll or "union buster" would try to inject into the Spirit pilot community's psyche. If you are a pilot for Spirit, you need to do a gut check!

Baiting people into negotiating on an internet board coupled with divisive tones is what a union buster would do and that's what landed you on the list. I'm sure you'll start a new screen name and we'll have to feel that one out. See if you make it past post 12.

The company is desperate to manage expectations. They need a contract and want a 51% yes vote. That's their job. It's our job to make sure we get what we deserve in this round. 99% of the pilots in this group have fought hard, either here or at a prior carrier, and I don't think the trolls will work out this time. But, they are really really trying hard and I will give them that...

See that’s the problem. The company doesn’t “need” a new contract at all. They are continuing to get us at a huge discount and are in no hurry what so ever to get this done.

Spirit has an incredible pilot group.

They know any inferior agreement will be rejected in MEMRAT by a landslide.

But hey I'm all for it lets drag this out another 2 years only to get the company proposal and any kind of retro because we have no mediation anymore. Therefore the company has ZERO incentive to do anything. You can tell me I'm wrong all you want but I am choosing to be realistic and to not live in some sort of fantasy bubble.

How about instead of rolling over, you take a chance in life, grow a pair, and stand up for your profession. The market has set a rate for profitable companies to pay their Airbus pilots. If you accept anything less, you are selling yourself and your fellow aviators short.

I'm not rolling over man, I am just being realistic. I agree that the proposal is still not enough. But sitting around with pouty faces thinking that will change anything is just not a good game plan. The mediator bounced and now that's it. I too believe in ancient aliens.

I'm a troll just because I don't have the same opinion as you? I'm not trying to talk anybody into anything. I am just looking at the numbers and trying to be real here, that is all. How do you propose we "fight for whats right"? This management regime only sees $$$ and as long as flights are being covered and they are getting their pilot group at a huge discount they could give a whop about what is right.

You're certainly spending an inordinate amount of time and effort on this board trying "not" to talk us into anything...I could suggest a multitude of more productive pastimes for you. I'm pretty sure the NC didn't stutter when talking about social media. As to your question...get off the boards and call your rep. Not difficult. You've been told this multiple times already.

No thanks, I'll do whatever the **** I want. I'm not on here disusing specifics. And I have called my reps MULTIPLE times, so you can get off that wagon that you seem to ride so hard. From the numerous times I have called all I get is a "wait for the phone poll". I shouldn't have to call or e-mail my reps for what should be explained to the entire pilot group. They have no plan going forward after the phone poll as I have asked them multiple times and they have no interest explaining that embarrassment to the pilot group.

Like it or not, spouting a defeateous attitude on here is exactly what union busting is all about. Infighting is what Bendo wants, you arguing with everyone is exactly what he wants. Going after the union on a public board is exactly what he wants. When will you decide to stop being the puppet that Bendo wants?

If you're dissatisfied then take action. Recall your rep, run for office, etc etc. There's a new rep being elected in LEC 18 this month and both LEC 77 rep positions will be up for election very soon as well (within the next month or so). This entire MEC could change quickly.

Bargain? What bargaining are you talking about? He have no futures dates set for any type of bargaining nor will there likely be any now that the mediator is gone. And even if we did get some bargaining dates without the help of a mediator the company will have no problem dragging us along to make us feel like progress is being made only for nothing to change in the proposal. I’ve seen this play out before first hand.

Go to your supervisor and ask for more training. As a buster, look at future targets and get an apc log in that makes you more viable. Just a thought. Either way, your cover is blown. I am a member of this pilot group and have been for awhile, probably longer than you. I would have made an APC account sooner if I knew it was going to upset you so much. I am personal friends with many of the reps here and talk to at least one of them almost daily and that is all I need to say about that. You sir need a chill pill. Or maybe just a nap.

You really think I'm "trolling", maybe you should go look up the definition of what trolling is. Have I said one thing that is incorrect? NO. I expect a round of beers when we are still here 2 years later with no contract. News flash, there is no "inside information" trust me. The current plan is to 1) phone poll 2) picket 3) sit around twiddling our thumbs for another 2 years. I can see the company shaking in their boots already!
