I feel like they have the right to fly to the cities they want when they want to execute their business. All that matters is that it’s a Spirit pilot doing the flying and the trip is rigged appropriately and/or has the appropriate override if they choose to have it be inefficient or intl or in the middle of the night.

Our current Intl override is industry leading i believe but otherwise
I agree with you. My point is I couldn’t care less where we fly as long as it’s compensated appropriately. It’s more than reasonable

Because at most airlines, including this one, the FAs have crappy hotel language compared to the pilots. They can have the Days Inn by the freeway, I'll take the Marriott downtown.

I'm just glad to see the billboards are up finally, that will really get the company shaking! Just wait until our MEC finds out about this thing called the internet!

Well, since I don't have an app in anywhere else, I don't think that is going to happen! Listen.....if I were even 10 years younger, I would DEFINITLEY leave this God forsaken place. But with the time I have left, is better for me to enjoy this quality of life and make every one of my kids events. I enjoy conflicts every month so typically don't start working till mid month. Yes.....Bendo loves me! Obviously this will not work for everybody, but to each their own.

Another market we can cherry pick! Spirit will do very well there!!:D

Halon1211 11-14-2017 03:26 PM

We should be picketing at these new places! When Spirit holds a "grand opening" at these new locations. You know they bring out the Walmart cake and the yellow and black balloons. And the local news channels comes because nothing else is going on in town. How awesome would that be to have a bunch of us with informational picketing signs and our cool green and red lanyards in the background. Then maybe the really hot news anchor will interview us and the word spreads further. Idk just my thought.

I don't agree. There is a time and place for everything. Dragging the company down on a new city isn't the time or the place. We all know how these issues should be handled but the pilot group continues to do the incorrect thing. FLY YOUR LINE!

Well hey we didn't have any picketing signs. But we did show them our green lanyards. Hopefully someone from the media asked them about the lanyards!

Haha. wow, they really do have cake and the yellow and black balloons. I was just at joking, I didn't think spirit would actually spend money on it.
