Some think we're going to be bought, some don't have a four year degree, some have blemishes on their record, some want out of Mesa, and most are trying to leave.

I can imagine they have HR issues, which explains that they took a pass on me and then decided to process my resume I guess. (ATP with about 4500 hours):o

Most of the guys want to move on but they don't have the degree and that's a non starter. Online degree is the next step is my response. Failures and FAA actions really don't matter. We had a guy in our class had both. He actually had 2 FAA actions and 4 busts. He's at SWA! He's very happy he got out of here.

It's never too late to get that degree done. Opens up doors and gives you options.

There is never a convenient time to get a degree, just like there's never really a convenient time to take a long vacation or have your first child. Sometimes you just have to take the leap and get going.

What's that movie quote... Get busy living or get busy dying?

Shawshank redemption.

Kind of fitting for this hellhole.

"Hope is a dangerous thing" can be applied to many aspects of the airline.
