I would bet on that, except top end will be $259 at DOS+4 for 12 years ($264 with override). Its what the union wanted as of last published differences between the two positions.

from what I heard you're correct. Rates are all but unchanged. So much for fixing the slope. It's big percentage increases but it still cements us in the lower tier for a long time.

Focusing on payrates only is a fools game.

And what will be your justification to be underpaid when Jetblue captures "industry standard scope" like we are supposedly getting and is still paid 20+ an hour more?

Agree!
Are these acceptable to you, if we have scope?

Jetblue codeshares alone prevented the airline from buying widebody aircraft.

That's industry standard to you? SWA is good scope in my opinion. Codeshares and regionals are not.

Not what I said. Reread the post. Some of our proposed rates are current book JetBlue. If they capture an industry standard scope like we were told was achieved this will cement our contract in the "lower tier" for quite some time. It's just a disappointment all around.

What’s current inflation? What’s historic? With interest rates rising shouldn’t we see an increase in inflation? Annual increases of 2% would likely not keep up with inflation is my guess

So if we are suppose to accept low tier pay rates then the rest of the TA should be stellar, but it is not sounding like it will be.

I can agree with that.

Pilots are now a fixed cost. The market rate for a A320/B737 Captain at the top of the pay scale is $260 to $270 per hour with annual increases of 3%. My pay rate at UAL (12 year 737) is currently $270.97 with a scheduled increase to $281.81 next Jan. 1. The market B plan is 15-16%. You guys know how to play this game. Don't let the company or Alpa talk you into anything less!

I agree 100%, but I think most here have already been talked into less!
