Thanks for clarifying, I guess you must be a 12 year old 4’0” based on your texting style. However, I’m 6’2”, and not getting BFS/exit row on a DH means arriving in pain. Adequate contractual compensation would help the company in making sure the book us an ok seat.

If it doesn’t cost the company anything they should be okay with us getting It, if it does cost the company money the union should fight for monetary compensation if it doesn’t happen. This applies to room keys in the van, DH seat assignments, 5 days of to the maximum extent possible ASO. If you still don’t get this that then feel free to get of my lawn.

I can’t name any airline that cancels your DH if no window/isle seat is available.
Having said that, saying we have worse things to worry about is the not good enough. The only reason we have worse things to worry about is because they weren’t resolved in the last contract. If we keep carrying things over because of perceived negotiation capital available it will never improve.

Well, every other airline gives you 100% pay for a DH to training and United pays 150% if they stick you in a middle....so no your DH language is not like everyone else’s.

My friend at Virgin Alaska tells me they're required to get first class on DH longer than 5ish hours.
At my current regional we're not guaranteed anything in particular other than a passenger seat. Crew scheduling, or whatever system they use, usually initially puts you in a crap seat near the back. 24 hours prior I'll check in on the app and can usually move up to a premium economy or at least exit row seat. Is it the same at Spirit, where you check in on the app and then can move your seat? It also puts us on the upgrade list but I've gotten that exactly twice.

Not a Spirit guy (I'm at another el-cheapo operation), but, c'mon guys:
Every single f#####g deadhead should always pay 100% block-or-better at a minimum. There is absolutely no reason to ever accept less.

you get no worse than ECON+ for domestic under 8hrs block. Business or first for INTL and to and from training. If DH to cover another bases trip while on RSV you are booked in FC if available at time of trip construction.
The first priority is window/aisle then middle seat if you get middle seat you get 150% pay. A DH pilot will never be booked in ECON unless the plane has no other class of service (50 seaters)
The company MUST move a passenger to accommodate the DH rules. And of course 100% pay of the actual BLOCK of the DH.
