I don’t work for Spirit so I didn’t think it was right for me to vote. Here’s my question.. Has ALPA or your MEC come out with a contract (TA) comparisons? I keep reading guys comparing the TA to other contracts but it’s all based on speculations. Would be really helpful if you guys can see a comparisons graphs, charts, or something.

Sad but true!
Short sighted and scared...
This QOL will NEVER be regained, $ goes up AND down.

Just going to throw this out there but “Quality of Life” can mean a lot of different things.

To some its more time at home, or not having to sit in ATL airport for 4 hrs while scheduling tries to put out fires. To others its a better retirement, the insurance of having LTD, the higher W2 that will allow the wife to stay home with the kid etc.

The insults you guys are slinging at each other is what mgmt is laughing at. I can’t blame anyone for voting yes or voting no but for FFS we are all on the same team. Enough of the bashing each other already

Just love the tough guys on here. How many of you big men were involved in these negotiations. Interesting segment on the Q&A video starting at min 26:00.

No I do not like everything about this but for people putting up turd symbols maybe you should have got involved and been a part of the process because big man seems to think he could have done better. The NC has been fighting for you to turd man.

Also might want to watch starting at mins 34:45 of the Q&A vid about his thoughts on what happens if it’s voted down. And oh yeah, he was part of the process and he did sit in the room face to face. Did you.

Same story we got in 2010 when we had the company by the balls and choked.

Zero Appreciation ... Over 12 here vote NO!

Voted NO:

- Standard work rules, NON-STANDARD PAY!

- Biggest Gripe after LOSING QUALITY-OF-LIFE CONTROLS! ... Is lack of RECOGNITION FOR YEARS OF SERVICE!

- Been here 19 years ... TA now makes me a 12yr employee. Classic move in corporate America ... would love to fire all the senior experience pay grades and hire a bunch of 3yr upgrades but cannot ...

- So the next best option is to demote them!
And yet feel "good" cause your getting your NMB approved "pay raise".

- So I'm a 19 year LTC in the AF and have done my dues (most of them sh**ty and earned my respect. Few years to retirement or promotion. OPTEMPO bad but budget GREAT! ... biggest EVER! Sorry Colonel ... we are going to have to reduce your pay to a senior Capt or junior Major ... but hey ... you still got your Rank!!

Not-to-Worry, all us Generals are still are getting all of our bonuses and beyond "god" recognition pay for holding down the forts.

- A yes vote ... low tier, low pay and LOW RESPECT for at least eight more years!

WE CAN DO BETTER!

So we should vote no because we would be moving to an industry standard 12 year pay scale?
