2 years 7-8 months (11/2015 hire awarded FLL CA on the June "What If")

Use caution with that number though as we've only got 4 more airplanes coming this year so it will likely slow down in the near future. Of course we need an aircraft order too to continue any movement past 2021. It will likely be coming soon, but until it does it's worth considering.

Yes but you'll be out of it by the time you are done with OE. Usually you'll get what you want 2-3 weeks after starting class. Unless you want to stay in ACY, you'll get that while in ground school.

When do you get base assignments in indoc? How often are vacancy bids being put out?

vac bid once a month, new hire base assignments are included in that bid

I've been out of the 121 game for a few years, so just a little rusty. Basically, just have your base preferences in the bid, and you get what you can hold?

Pretty much. You have your standing bid. Once your senority can hold it. It will award you that base.
