My point is I think some guys had some weird medical issues they have been waiting to get get looked at because of our crappy LTD that only paid for 2 years. Starting tomorrow they are covered on LTD til 65 if they lose their medical. Big difference.

Wait until you have a full year at the new rates. You benefit is based on your last W2.

Schedule your Doc visit for 2019 or 2020 if you can wait that long. :)

This is understood but the own occupation coverage was/is the big deal. If someone has a medical issue that is worrying them they should probably see someone sooner rather than 10mo from now.
