We are the ones searching the ends of the earth for Airbus slots and used 319s. I’d say we are much more rudderless right now, as we celebrate WiFi with cake cutting ceremonies.

Future Aircraft orders is not an indication of financial health and or good business practices. Norwegian had a bunch of aircraft on order until they didn’t. TThe theme is played out multiple times in our industry.

and don't forget of the 255+151 60 of them are replacements (so 255 is more like 195) and of those 195, most of them are 15+ years old

Not that it's an issue, American and United fly some oooolllddd airbuses, but they will need replacing sooner rather than later.

I think B6 made $13M last quarter. We made $100M. I don’t know if their figure included a bonus payout. I think the poster means that they’re searching for a niche by rudderless. We definitely have ours.

Ok...their payrates are better. The superiority of their overall contract is very debatable. Last I checked their reserve and health insurance still sucks.

To call us rudderless is pretty clueless on your part. If you've been here any length of time, you've seen how far this airline has come. We're far removed from the Baldanza and Indigo days.

Compared to our new reserve system with PBS? Spirit, no reserve drops, period. Spirit can make Reserves sit reserve away from domicile. Spirit can reschedule our reserves at will. 13 days off a month. How is Jet Blue’s reserve system worse than that?

Not sure about the health care.

Their scope is better, ZERO JetBlue Express.

Their 401k is better- 15%

They have profit sharing.

Our Airbus Rates=Their C Series Rates

They also have a midnight flying override, better international flying override, higher per diem, and get paid for clearing customs.

For the 3rd Quarter

Our GAAP pre tax income was $96.5 million
JetBlue had a GAAP pre tax income of $68 million.

We had an adjusted pre tax income of $100.5 million.
JetBlue had an adjusted pre tax income of $180 million

JetBlue had a one time expense of $112 million in regards to refleeting the 190s.

JetBlue’s niche is the East Coast, the Caribbean, South America, the West Coast and they have a very loyal customer group in most of there markets. Seems like their rudder works just fine.

Ah yes, the old "if you like their contract better why don't you go there?" instead of using other people's contracts as a way to better our own...

Sadly this is how most of the yes voters think. Some take it personal when you bring up the fact we are now, once again, the lowest paid Airbus pilots in the U.S.

“If you don’t like it.....leave!”

Don't be so sure we wouldn't still be under contract 2010 had we voted no.
