Sure, they spent the past 9 months prior to the new contract staffing up for an unknown variable. The staffing was already set to be higher. This didn't happen over 2 months.

Read the notes. It says dates and numbers of upgrades TBA. I'm sure it'll be more than 4.

No transition conflict and lots of guys picking up straight pay adds and no rsv checkerboards. We are staffed it seems. Not many planes coming compared to the first quarter.

RSV may start going senior.

If senior pilots like to fly... As a middle seniority RES CA, I flew more in April than any other month in the last several years. I never "checker boarded" my schedule in the past! |
I worked my balls off on reserve last summer in FLL. Bid reserve in April in DFW just to get that sweet transition drop and only got used a handful of days. Last week I was an R11 and they only used me one out of six days on. I honestly thought they had forgotten about me.

This same thing happened at the same time last year. We were told 16 upgrades per month but it dropped to 6 over the summer. September was when the number jumped back up. I’m not saying the same will happen this year because I would only be guessing. But based on previous experience this is just business as usual.
