For your edification. Just talked to a friend of mine who went to the ATL Meet The Chiefs. Three days later he got the call for a November Interview.

His experience is very competitive and I was pretty sure he would get the call.

Well that’s encouraging

At the LAX event, they said that coming here does help, but to be patient. It may be a couple weeks after to get a call (assuming your resume and app are competitive).

Basically they go back to the hiring folks with the Resumes from these events. I’m sure they get scored and whoever is competitive gets a call.

The gist I got was this. Classes are full thru February. They don’t like have a massive pool of guys. I get the bunch they aren’t going to be calling a lot or interviewing a lot the next month or so.

I think after the new year you may see a steady stream. They want to hire 375 next year.

Again they stressed they don’t like to have big pools of guys for class. Currently there are 30 in the pool.

Can anyone still comment from another thread on the app process. I applied a 2nd time, after getting the you have not been selected email from earlier in the year, right before the MTC event.
Currently though I have not gotten a 2nd gallop test assessment which it said would be emailed out as well on the spirit website it does not say that i recently completed an application it just has the one from earlier in the year.
thoughts ?

Have you considered attending a "Meet the Chiefs" event?

I did... like I said I applied right before going again to the recent mtc or meet the chiefs. *maybe I didn't make that clear but anyways yes.

I know that this basic scenario is the case for some other people but wondered if anyone currently at spirit had any insight on it.

I have a little over 2k TT, 4 year degree, current 121. Is it even worth applying? Or should I just wait until I hit that 3k TT mark at least?

Thanks so much!

Honestly they probably won’t look at you untill 3,000 hours, but it’s always worth a try.

It doesn't cost anything, might as well try. I've flown with guy's here that have similar times without a degree.

True but they were hired pre contract most likely
