One stretch of R days per year.

Your 2700TT you were hired with isnt even the bare minimums now. But good for you, you jumped in when the lower window was open and didn’t look back. Guys that sat on their hands not sure if “Spirit was right for them” and now can’t get a call, oh well.

But the dynamics have definetly changed since you were able to get on

Fair enough. I was hired this May. I pinch myself every once in awhile to make sure my luck wasn't a dream after all!

It does. 4 days off, stretch of 6 reserve days, 4 days off. Drop the stretch of 6 and you have 2 weeks off.

Believe me, I hate that we won't be able to drop reserves anymore, I did it every month this past year. But at least it's not just one day.

Upgraded about 2 years ago, I can’t even hold a relief line.

Totally depends on the base. Upgraded barely over a year ago and bounce between relief and a line.

And I upgraded 14 months ago and still have not been awarded a line. More reserve than relief.

I've heard that when PBS is implemented we will go from ~30% reserves to closer to ~18%. Take from that what you want but should push those more senior reserve guys and gals into a line.

This is true. One nice thing about PBS with Spirit (potential) is the red/green system. Most companies PBS leads to ~0 open time, thus no flexibility and reserves flying rarely (not necessarily a bad thing). But with the ability to drop Green open time should still remain a viable option for schedule improvement throughout any given month.

PBS theoretically removes IOT, thus less RSV coverage needed.
