Any suspension of stock purchases would point to a merger/acquisition .. not a plane order . The SEC doesn’t care about capital expenditures.. investing in ones company on plant , property, equipment is normal growth that all companies strive for. Changing ownership structure, stock distribution, is much more relevant to the government for public companies . Just my hunch if that indeed did happen

It’s related to insider trading

Everyone realizes that we as a pilot group can’t control if we unite with another carrier or do another aircraft order??

No matter what Spirit plans to do, you can’t control it, the only thing you can do is stay or quit, so relax and find more pleasures in life if that is at all possible with any of you

Searching Spirit's filings on the SEC website last reveals the 8K and 10KQ reports, nothing about 78u-1. Do you have the document link, or is this another "source"?

Exactly. Showing nothing was filed. Be careful with what happens when rumors are spread and catches fire on the WhatsApp network.

Also, no new 787 orders from undisclosed customers. So far , the smart money has always been on the opposite of what this guy spews.

There is a fairly recent undisclosed order for 15 A321 NEOs though. Also wonder if a stock buyback could cause a freeze on employee stock purchases. Seems like pretty good timing to do so at the current price.

We don’t have an employee stock purchase plan and we are not considered insiders, just labor, so buy away

Wasn't wondering if we could buy it or not, was curious if a buyback freezes purchases for execs.
