So without the liner is still very warm and not a shoulder season jacket. Ok well I guess I’ll stick with my leather then

Bought a medium and it’s too big.
Anyone interested in a small to medium swap or in buying a medium off me? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Will they not exchange it?

Okay. So there is some confusion I think. Maybe.
There is the Karbon Aviator II Jacket. This is the actual jacket you need to buy. It has the sleeves on the shoulders for your epaulettes and the “name badge” area is for your Spirit Wings. An additional option you can buy is what is called the Down Sweater. This Down Sweater is what people are referring to as the North Face Style jacket. Personally, I love it. So. These are two individual pieces and can be worn separately. People refer to the North Face Style jacket (Down Sweater) as the Inner liner. Yes and No. The Down Sweater doesn’t attach itself to the Aviator Jacket. You simply wear the North Face Style Down Sweater and then you put your Aviator Jacket on over it. Your wearing two jackets essentially. A thin one and then your thicker work one on top. I bought both and, as of now, I wear the Aviator Jacket to work and not my Down Sweater (North Face Style). As it gets colder I will bring it along as well. Size wise this is my experience: As a Medium the North Face Jacket fits perfectly. I love it. The Aviator Jacket fits a bit big, BUT, that is me wearing it without the North Face underneath it. When I wear the Aviator with the North Face it fits as it should. I’m 5’9 and 170 lbs. All in all I am glad I bought both. The North Face style inner jacket is perfect and I have been wearing it out on the town. It’s nice for fall 40-50 degree type temperatures. Once it gets below freezing I’ll throw the Aviator ontop and be set. Reminder to buy the Velcro Epaulets since the shoulder straps are sewn in and can’t be unbuttoned to slide them on. Also order the blank name badge. That is what you attach your wings to. Then when you want to wear it out, outside of work, rip off the Epps and wings (name badge) and there you have your jacket to wear out to a bar/restaurant. I’m not going to get into whether we should have had to pay for this. That’s another time. All I will say is, this is a very good quality jacket and I’m very glad impressed with it. |
