Your buddy may make more, but ask him about domestic work rules. AA rules are atrocious. I mean bad. I have friends who have “flowed”’ and, while they are happy and make more, are also pretty damn surprised by a lot.
When I got on here I was up front on AA out of PHX. I told him I was staring NK in a couple weeks. First thing out of his mouth was “excellent” they have tremendous work rules and QOL. He told me stuff that was hard to believe concerning AA domestic rules. He didn’t elaborate but said the International AA guys it was quite different for. I can’t speak for United or Delta, but I’m still certain you can’t manipulate your schedules and drop as freely as you do here. I get it’s a legacy and it has more to offer equipment/flying wise etc, but to me the value here is your QOL and life style. My friends at Spirit have absolutely zero stress getting time off for anything. I have one friend that vacations 4/6 times a year. You drop one trip and have over a week off (worst case). There is a hell of a lot to be said for lifestyle. To me, going to a legacy that offering $20-30K more a year, but not giving you the ability to drop and freely live your life isn’t worth it. I came here for QOL. Nearly everyone in my class did for the same reason. Everyone has different priorities. |

This is starting again? Already.....? I wish you the best, and please. Just leave. Update your app.
Are you really trying? Update your times, gather recs and GTFO. Because I can’t handle another round of “this place sucks, I hope everyone quits.” Except me... “I would leave if I were younger, you should leave.” Please DFW go to the bottom of whatever list makes you feel like a man. One Miiiillion doooooollars!!!! High Five Bro The “high five” crap is overdone too BTW. Just like the rest of your post. Old news buddy. |

Has anyone heard about when we’re getting the money owed to us from the overcharged medical deductions?

How is this even possible? I pull an x or y list trip when offered and I am lucky to break 110 and only getting 12/13 days off.
