It's one thing to cheat your fellow pilots with Bots, to pick up time, its another to leave a paper trail while picking up DOT while in flight, VPN or otherwise, you will be caught.

As a side note; don't put the guy youre flying with in a difficult situation by surfing the internet in cruise. It's both of you on the line if something happens and they see a crew member was on the internet. Soon all of our planes will have wifi up and running, be smart.
Soon? We don’t even have 1 plane up and running. We were supposed to have WiFi launch flight back in Jan. It’s gonna be a while. Also. PBS doesn’t require WiFi. So you can still work on your bids during the window

Exactly.

“DFWflyboy” is always a few sandwiches short of a picnic. Must be his constant complaining about Spirit and the choices he has made

According to unamed Union sources; the first noi for bot use was issued a few weeks ago.

Yeah- makes sense an airline would go “live,” as soon as the FIRST airplane is ready.... lol

Anyone with enough skills to write FLICA bot programs (or half a brain) isn't browsing the internet naked. The logged IP will lead nowhere.

FLICA (the company) doesn't give a sh!t about bots or scripts because it violates seniority or is unfair. They only care because it might tax their servers more. If it was on the level of a dos attack, you bet they'd be after the culprit. This? nah.

The company paid it lip service and I'd expect it to stop there for them. BTW I Googled "FLICA hacking bot subscription" and got no relevant results so crap, good luck everyone!

If they can prove he/she picked up multiple trips within milliseconds it doesn’t matter what their IP is.

Bingo. The incriminating evidence doesn't need to arise from an IP. Bots leave a recognizable pattern of behavior. All they need to do is determine the number of milliseconds in which it is not humanly impossible to submit a request, then flag those Flica accounts with such activity. Continued patterns of activity should be enough to justify an NOI.

Deeper issue is shows the personality trait of a pos loser. I’m sure they sit there and high five themselves and think they are just smarter then everyone else. Probably teach their children if you have to cheat in life go ahead. It’s the right thing to do. Screw everyone else. To me one of the biggest problems in our society is the f*#k everyone else it’s all about me mentality.

People who lie and cheat are scum. Simple as that. One of the last times I sat and talked with my father before he died he talked about your word and integrity and to never lose it.

I’m sure some day one of these *********s will get caught and go crying for representation. If and when they do get caught I don’t have much sympathy for the outcome. They know it’s wrong, they have been warned to not do it and yet I’m sure some keep doing it. Maybe someday their children will get screwed in life by a cheater. Karma’s a *****.

You know to access a trip trade via Flica you're required to use your login? Forget the IP. The finger print is the login. The fact people are accessing the Flica system and cutting a Bot loose to to troll and trip trade. The Bots are slowing the system down is what Flica told the Company. Let's see what the Company says during the NOI. I'd bet someone is going to get a couple of weeks off to send a message.
