That will be maybe a gate agent specific issue.

So golden rules applies as always; catch one of the pilots and tell them you have some gear, we will get it on

For the record; 99% of the gate agents won’t give a jump seat any grief; this isn’t American and their cranky grandmas

I've never heard of any Spirit gate agents having any issues with carry on bags. I would say, bring as many as you want.

One more question. When do jumpseaters board? Some want you on early some wait till the end. Just don’t want to gate check stuff. Thx

It’s not like Delta, United or American. I’ve never seen us running out of overhead bin space. Feel free to board when ever, if you get a seat very likely, it should say Zone 1, which is after preboard

Double check me but when you list I think it actually says 2 bags. Just grab the Captain and trust me bags will never be an issue. I've seen Jumpseaters with 3 bags and no one has ever made an issue.

Lol

Even on an oversold flight with all seats onboard filled and you boarding last there will be overhead bin space for you and several members of your extended family. Plus room up front for at least two more of your bags.
