Reporters work for people too and have to put out a certain amount of material working on deadlines, so I’m sure a lot of them get frustrated too not being able to do the quality of work they’d like either.

There’s crappy people in every profession, but quit being petty and help this issue get the attention it needs. Someone needs to make it clear it’s not just an A320 problem. I Think ALPA has been pretty quiet on the fume issues
Refer to the company handbook. Stay out of trouble.

Couldn’t agree more man. This stuff NEEDS to legitimately start getting out into the press. It would be incredible to see it start being talked about on actual news/commentary programs.

The current 2 paragraph blurbs about someone diverting due to “odors” (with zero follow up) sure as hell doesn't cut it.

I also agree that ALPA doesn’t seem to care that much. Someone compared their approach (so far) to the approach by the NFLPA with CTE and Concussions. They do just enough to show they care, but in reality don’t want to go down the road it would require for serious change.

I've had a fume event! The FO took his shoes off! Mask went on. Had a passenger in the front lab for 45 min and I considered an Emer D! We had the masks on up front the whole time. It was really dangerous! LOL

Because you are not an expert and whatever information you give him will only make our job harder. There is no cover up as to the existence of fume events.... what it does to your body, that’s where he needs to be a journalist and find the proper information... and that will not come from a pilot.
