So anyways new uniforms? Heard some rumor that it was going to look like the FA's with black shirts yellow bars and all that.
Is it something that spirit pilots would vote on?

The rumor I heard was that it’s basically still going to be a standard pilot uniform. Still white shirts but black pants and yellow bars. Which I’m fine with, personally. I hate wearing black shoes with blue pants.

After reading the reviews on here about the ACA pants, I ordered some, and they aren’t right for me. Baggy in the thighs, saggy crotch, and the pockets stick out like ears.

maybe I have thunder thighs and a sagging ballsack. Agreed on the pockets though.

Pants:

Ordered two pairs of the CK slim (not skinny) pants in sky captain blue. Felt the cut was pretty good and the color was a close but not perfect match. Closest I’ve seen from a non uniform vendor. Not a big deal if you don’t wear the blazer and perhaps not noticeable if you do. Ultimately I’m returning them back to Macy’s because I found the fabric to be thin and cheap feeling. For $70 a pop not a bad price but I’m just gonna ride out my terrible uniform pants until we switch to black.

Shirts:

Ordered both the the modern cut and slim cut from jet stream. I found the modern cut to be very comparable to ACA tapered (my usual shirts) which is still a little fuller than I would like. The collar is a little shorter than ACA. Also no place to clip my ID the bottom of the pocket. The fabric is much lighter weight than ACA (I have not tried the tropo ACA so that may be comparable). I would prefer it to be a little heavier weight and perhaps a little starch is all it needs. Seem like a good option overall. The slim fits quite nice and I’m not overly thin or chubby.

Just ordered some ACA fitted in my usual cirrus fabric and also the tropo fabric. I had yet to try the tittered cut or the tropo so I figured I’d give it a go before I decide to keep the jet streams
