maybe should try reading the contract. It’s not all seniority based for reserve assignments.

I’m aware. Thanks for your Input bud. I’m referring to having the same amount of days available and same RAP period.

rescheduling without calling x/y is NOT at their discretion. ever. read and learn your contract and the rescheduling agreement.

You’re being given a hard to time because it’s not at schedulings discretion and If you’re being assigned out of order you need to politely alert them to the error and it will be fixed. It’s not being done in any malicious way it’s due to lack of training on their part. Unfortunately it is up to us to know our contract well because spirit doesn’t invest enough money in training and having scheduling working both FAs and pilots it’s nonsense at our current size.

What is for sure is that unlike other places many of us may have worked prior, crew scheduling at spirit does not speak to us in a disrespectful manner nor treat us as if they are our superiors. They have a job to do simple as that. We have many new pilots that might be carrying the crew scheduling chip on their shoulder from another property and we need to leave that at the door. As long as we remain professional we will continue get people on the phone that treat you with courtesy and respect. If you feel like there is an issue politely bring it to their attention. It will either get fixed right then and there or perhaps there was a chance you were incorrect and you will be given a reason why something happened the way it did.

Hotels are another story and stem from complete incompetence by hotel connections. If you’re not getting timely results, remain professional and get the Cheif pilot involved. And don’t forget to file NCCs.
