I believe his meaning is, if we were to go into a recession (after the fact) and people are cutting back discretionary income, but still want to (try) and travel, Spirit will be in a good position.

Flu has a 0.1% fatality rate. This thing is around 2% and it's more contagious. While I agree the media is overly freaking out so far, I wouldn't sell this thing short just yet. It could wind up being very disruptive.

until it starts killing people that weren’t all ready compromised Im not going to worry about it. Other then the media hysteria causing our economy to collapse

It has. That’s what’s making this virus weird. If 100 people get it, statistics show 2 perfectly healthy adults will die. Nobody knows why some die and others don’t. It’s not just the old and frail dying from it like the flu. Some don’t even show symptoms and are just carriers. Hard to contain people who have no symptoms and that’s what is causing it to spread.

whats causing the economy to collapse is corporate earnings recession, growing supply chain disruptions and several rounds of Trump pumps glutting the top side to a super way over bought market. Like it or not, this bubble needed to be popped, it's a return to normalcy. The marketplace is so vast and diverse, the media overall plays very little role in what's going on.

arent these tickets already bought months ago? Spirit hasn’t changed any guidance like United because we haven’t changed anything.
