FO Flows
 

Sorry if this has already been answered, just couldn’t find it. Going into training as an FO, do we also need to know all the captain flows too, or just FO PM/PF flows?

All flows. You will be in both seats throughout training.

All. You are getting typed. Types don't have an FO only restriction.

Not to be pedantic, but there certainly are SIC only types, which is probably why he asked the question.

Not required. I received two types at another airline and never once performed a CA flow.

But it is required at NK. You will be in the left seat during your sim partners checkride and will be debriefed on your performance.

There's no Capt/FO flow except in some emergencies like electrical emergency configuration . .

PF/PM flows are very easy to remember.. You just have to remember some triggers..
Like after landing, when de PF disarm the Spoilers.. Is a trigger to start your flow . .

That must be a Spirit thing and maybe a couple other airlines. Let the FO’s focus on their tasks and the instructor can easily manipulate the overhead panel and lights or any other Captain duty. I believe all a FO getting a PIC type needs to do is taxi the airplane.

You're not being pedantic at all, because a SIC type rating isn't a type rating.
