No travel to Europe, no NBA games, Forrest Gump has COVID. This is spiraling out of control faster than needs be, but reality is that it is. Roosevelt once said “the only thing we have to fear, is fear itself. Does this feel like some bad movie, or some history reel we thought could never happen again? 3 weeks ago I was fat dumb and happy, 3 days ago, I thought we may cancel a few flights for 2 months, now I’m concerned for the entire economy and Industry. Logic completely dictates this is just fear run amok. A big eye roll. But damn, this is getting uglier by the hour. It can’t happen to us in the 21st century... but can it ?

Yeah it can. It’s not a hoax or “fake news”. It’s not fear run amok, If anything it’s complacency run amok.

World is quickly entering meltdown stage.

“The attending physician of Congress and the Supreme Court, Brian Monahan, briefed Senate staff on Tuesday afternoon in a closed-door meeting and said that he expects 70 million to 150 million people in the U.S. will contract the coronavirus, two sources tell NBC News. ”

We’re in the denial phase. Once people accept facts, things will start to improve. We need to start hearing more of “yeah, I’ve got it. Had some fever, took Advil for a few days and watched Netflix for a couple of weeks”. It’s a dreadful reality that we’ll loose about 1-2% of the population in the US, mostly seniors and people with acute respiratory diseases. It’s also a wake up call to implement healthier lifestyle habits. Viruses will come and go, but ultimately it’s up to your body to fight back. Take good care of it.

...and fear or not, warranted or not, the damage to the industry is really happening. The company does not get back the past month of sales. Basically the next two quarters are already shot. The company has pulled its guidance for the year and if this virus doesn't settle down quickly and the company has to start considering chewing through its cash to pay the bills, labor is getting chopped first.

2. Coronavirus pneumonia is a dry cough with no runny nose.

3. This new virus is not heat-resistant and will be killed by a temperature of just 26/27 degrees. It hates the Sun.

4. If someone sneezes with it, it takes about 10 feet before it drops to the ground and is no longer airborne.

5. If it drops on a metal surface it will live for at least 12 hours - so if you come into contact with any metal surface - wash your hands as soon as you can with a bacterial soap.

6. On fabric it can survive for 6-12 hours. normal laundry detergent will kill it.

7. Drinking warm water is effective for all viruses. Try not to drink liquids with ice.

2. The virus then blends into a nasal fluid that enters the trachea and then the lungs, causing pneumonia. This takes about 5/6 days further.

3. With the pneumonia comes high fever and difficulty in breathing.

4. The nasal congestion is not like the normal kind. You feel like you're drowning. It's imperative you then seek medical attention.

38 people have died in the USA total as of today. So yes it's the biggest Hoax since Russian got Trump in the White House. I’d rather use Mountain Dew. Equally caustic, tastes better, doesn’t come from the airplane tap and leads to a much friendlier post drink breath environment.

No doubt this is being politicized But are you suggesting the markets have puked up trilliions of dollars in a mass hoax liberal conspiracy in concert with the world's largest banking and investment firms in order to swing the election? Why would businesses want that?

I think the airplane tap part is the reason it could be a vaccine. Definitely an immune system test, probably builds antibodies over time.

Maybe, just maybe our stats are off since we still are woefully unable to test people at a reasonable rate in this country?

My kids Schools are closed until the end of April, there are curfews in place, all Professional sports are cxld, all large events are cxld. I wouldn’t exactly say we aren’t doing nothing.

National emergency was declared, schools and universities are closed, museums are closed, travel restrictions are in place, businesses are closing, legislation is being worked on, and we are doing nothing about containing this?

We’re just getting started here. How would you explain Italy? A modern Western medical system as good as ours that is overwhelmed. Our cases are rapidly rising much like theirs was weeks ago.
