I’ll cast my vote in the “better to be a senior FO driving to work, than to be a CA commuting to indefinite reserve” bucket.
words cannot describe how terrible it is commuting, let alone commuting to reserve. Avoiding that experience and stress on your family is priceless if you ask me. —— my 2 cents on the rest, I think this virus is about to explode across our population in April/May. Less and less people will fly. that all said, we had such aggressive growth planned that we can “scale it way back” without necessarily shrinking at the pace the legacies will. And we can usually profit with a lighter load factor than they can too. I think we will make it through this better than most airlines, but we haven’t even scratched the surface with this virus spread.. |
