Yes, I’m convinced that is why I was immune to Covid. At least the new coffee makes that water taste better.

Hi Guys,

Can someone please tell me if Spirit Pilots are allowed to buy discounted confirmed tickets on Spirit & if that’s allowed what is the discount percentage.
Also to travel to Europe & beyond which airline or airlines offer discounted tickets to Spirit Pilots.
Thank you.

It's not so much a discount on the air fare, but we can buy tickets the same price as what you see online. While getting 1 check bag and 1 carry on per passenger. The biggest discount is buying the tickets at the counter or gate, which anyone can do. This is the best deal if you don't plan on traveling with a check bag or carry on.

Yeah. Sucks that we cant even pick a seat when buying a full fare ticket as an employee, without having to pay for the seat. Im not even talking about a "premium seat," but just a row for the family to sit together. Would be easier than asking a gate agent to do it for us.

Ok so basically buy the tix at the same price the pax get online, but you get a free checked bag & a free carry on as an employee without having to pay the bag fees right?

Yep. Or save $30 and buy a ticket at the counter if you don't need bags.

Depending on the gate agent, some will assign the seat after you purchase it, if you ask them. Instead of waiting until the 24 hrs before the flight, which is when they usually start assigning the seats.

Oh yeah, I could have clarified that better. I will usually ask the agent for seat assignments weeks prior to the trip (usually while waiting for the release to print).

Are you allowed to buy upgraded seats through team travel?

BFS cost more than the ticket but you can chose your seats.
