Must be all the scientists all over the world who are wrong about climate change. Just need all the pilots, oil executives, and uneducated rednecks to set them straight and it will all be sorted out.

Just because you are a scientist doesn’t mean you are right.

remember when mercury was first thought to be safe

remember when we were told Pluto was a planet

remember when Dr. Fauci was telling people to stop wearing a mask.

nice try though

I’m not saying any one scientist can’t be wrong but the consensus is pretty solid. But whatever makes you sleep better at night more power to you.

You really want to keep score for when science was/is "right" versus "wrong?"

Sad how far some have gone away from science, while still clinging to "other forms" of reason...

Im 100% for questioning stated positions within science, any reasonable position should be able so stand up to scrutiny. But the flat out denial by some is maddening

I agree the climate is changing all the time. There are other possible than just C02 gas. Don’t agree with all this hysteria. We have a hurricane and people says it’s global warming. Whatever.

I wonder if those "scientists" would even have a job if they claimed there was no global warming.

The scientific consensus a few decades ago was that we were heading to another ice age.
Ice Age was coming in 1977, Leonard Nimoy - YouTube

Know a sure way to milk govt grant money? Find something that will scare the public.

Temperatures rise, temperatures fall.

Don't get me wrong; I think CO2 does rise the earth's temperature. But it's likely de minimus and is being vastly overstated by your scientists. By the way, you are aware of what happens to any scientist that disagrees with the global warming hypothesis, right? Peter Ridd in Australia was fired for daring to speak up against the consensus.

They get fired. See Peter Ridd. Plenty of other examples if one searches.

Temperatures cycle in multidecade cycles. Of course the strategy now is to 'smooth' the data to make multiyear temperature dips disappear. There was a pretty significant world temperature decline from ~1946 to the late 1970s. That's pretty much disappeared from the historic data thanks to the magic of data smoothing.

They would. They would get paid really well from companies that didn’t like the science. Actually seems like a pretty solid motive to deny actually. But reality is 90% of scientists getting together and agreeing for the sake of some climate change conspiracy seems a little far fetched.
