Anyone coming off EIL early?

Reading the MEC email, anyone who has taken an EIL can come back early if they choose.

I’m staying on my EIL

Anyone thinking of heading back?

I’ll stay home as long as I can. Unless they offer an “incentive” to come back early-which I don’t see happening

I’m flying charter until next OCT . Not coming back anytime soon

Did the PSP2 pass, I thought it still had to be signed into law first. Everyone seems to think it’s a done deal.

or am I mistaken?

Reading comprehension. Spirit is offering voluntary return outside of payroll protection independent of the MOU.

At first I thought I might come back early from my 6 month but I'm thinking if I wait till April my check ride month should be rebased. I don't enjoy having PC's in the summer and PT's at Xmas so I think I may stay out until the end.

Should be a bunch of guys coming back in April and needing training, should be a backlog getting to the sim, hence pay protection. Wouldn’t surprise me if many of us still have much of April off with pay protected trips, waiting to get into the sim and ground school.

ive had sim in dec for years, usually works great for getting back-door access to holidays off if you get sim late in the month

email from company specifically states bringing people back in a manner to avoid a backlog it seems..

Being as this was all voluntary from the beginning, I would be surprised if many people decide they want to come back to work.
