Doesn't matter multi millions - your employer gets to tell you how to do the job they pay you to do. Don't like it, get another job.

IF they are telling you jeans aren’t allowed in class, that’s one thing.

The company manual defined business casual as:

•It is important that Team Members adhere to the Company’s Business Casual Dress Code. Business Casual/ Casual shirts, all shirts with collars, business casual crewneck or V-neck shirts, blouses, golf and polo shirts. Examples of inappropriate shirts include shirts with inappropriate slogans, tank tops, muscle shirts, camouflage and crop tops. In specified circumstances, T-shirts may be approved and provided for specific events only.
•Pants: Casual slacks and trousers and jeans without holes, frays, etc. Examples of inappropriate pants include shorts (except for walking-length shorts), camouflage and pants worn below the waist or hip line.
•Footwear: Casual slip-on or tie shoes, dress sandals with heel straps and athletic shoes if approved by the department. Examples of inappropriate footwear include floppy sandals, flip-flops and construction boots


People can wear a tux for all I care. But short of the instructors telling you to not wear the above mentioned dress code, the above mentioned dress code applies.

Don’t conflate “I want to look like a million bucks” with “we have to wear slacks”. The COO wears jeans not because he is special, but because he is wearing the approved dress code. When I was a new hire I wore slacks every day, but a few wore jeans and nobody said peep. Again, if they are telling people, that’s new information and should have been included in the start of this topic.

We were told polos and slacks were the expected minimum dress attire, and I had my backside chewed by a certain C suite member who saw us in jeans and polos on pool/slides/fire day for lack of professionalism. He backed off once we explained that we were told to dress down on that day.

Haha. “Professional looking emergency slide day”.

I would even wear a pilots hat.
