Default Spirt Crew asked to change Uniform for Safety

They were asked to change out of their uniforms and then they were escorted to safety to avoid angry travelers.

Passengers wait in line at the Spirit Airlines check-in counter at Orlando International Airport on the sixth day the airline has cancelled hundreds of flights, on August 6, 2021.

LOL, the part of my brain that controls spelling has atrophied due to computer/phone spell checkers. I always read my posts before hitting the button and usually find a mistake not caught by the spellchecker. And I type too dang fast, my fingers try to keep up with my brain .

Just put on a pilot hat and they’ll never know...They will think you are with Delta or someone else.

Would they have just given them a police escort to the hotel van?

I think a good number of our pilots would be safe. A good chunk dress like in unprofessional slobs anyways.

An angry mob looking for pilots to beat up is going to run past a Spirit pilot and think “nah too goofy and unprofessional looking to be an airline pilot.”

some of the FA’s will be safe too. The angry mob will then run past some Spirit FA and think “nah they are Sonic workers that just graduated high school”.

Ya know it's funny, I read articles like this that are written by the media who are trying to make a quick buck at our expense, yet despite how quick everybody is willing to pull out their cell phones and film every little thing, there's absolutely no video footage of anything like this happening anywhere. I'm sure people were ****ed, no doubt about that, but rioting?? Can't find it on YouTube, Twitter, or anywhere for that matter. Weird.
