MCDU addressed that already. It's transitory due to the covid hiring lull.

Easy to hold a line over the holidays. Usual junior line guys bid down to reserve to get holidays off.

This is a silly thing to say. I was just a couple of numbers off the bottom in a very senior base when Covid hit and we stopped hiring. As soon as the hiring started back up, it only took a few months to start getting a line, and now I’m an easy line holder, at a senior base. Maybe you forget Covid shut things down for a while?

good point - will we see new hires holding a line out of training when hiring picks up to 72-90 a month In January? It’s possible!

I went to the MTC last month and they emailed about a week later with an invite to an in-person interview.

In person interview you say? I was under the impression that the first one was a virtual interview followed by a log book review?

Where was the in-person interview held? FLL?

Most are done in person now and yes it is in FLL. I have heard they are still doing a few remote but I think that is the exception now instead of the rule. They will fly you there but you have to get your own hotel.

As many as they can train is what I heard. Not sure of the exact number and I am sure somebody here knows better than me can say but 600 sticks out in my mind.

Default hiring minimums

I saw here and in other places, and confirmed on Spirit's website, that Spirit recently dropped hiring minimums down to 1500TT. My question is that if anyone is *actually* getting hired at ATP minimums? Or if there is a more realistic unwritten minimum, such as the "preferred" 2500 hours. Also, the website notes that an unrestricted ATP is a requirement. Does that mean that they won't pay for your ATP class?
