Have you heard or seen any official communication, regarding ATL opening as a base, since the proposed Blue buyout announcement?

Accept that no computer ever made can handle it, and never speak of this issue again. |

With the new bids out, how quickly would a new hire be able to get ACY?

Everything is a super manual process because the software was built in the early 80s. SABRE essentially has a monopoly.

I don't know if I'm buying this "we can't get it to run the bid properly" thing. Flica is a reputable product that has been around for years and is used by many airlines. If it wasn't capable of running a displacement bid correctly, something like that would be well known.

I would guess this is Spirit going to Sabre a few weeks before the displacement and saying they will be doing it before trying it out first, and then it fails. Reminds me of when Jyri turned on the new release software without a trial run and the system crashed and was asking guys to file their own flight plans. Ready Fire Aim, the Spirit way |

FLiCA was once a pretty good product, small but trying to get better. Then they got bought by Sabre and stank up the place. |
Did you guys ever have a BNA base? I thought I remembered some corporate functions were moving there?
